Guiding Principles for all Off-road Users . . .
Your actions and safety are your own responsibility. Neither the trip leader nor any other participant shall be responsible for any of your actions that may place you, or those with you, in a position that may lead to injury or fatality, nor for the loss (stolen or mislaid) or damage to your vehicle, equipment or property.
It is advised that no alcohol be consumed until all driving for the day is over.
It is advised that no pets to be taken on trips.
Adults are to take full responsibility for the safety, behaviour and actions of children in their care.
Be prepared to pitch in and help.
Whether on public or private property
• Obey the law
• Do not disturb livestock or their water facilities/locations
• Respect the rights of Land Owners • Leave gates as you found them
• Seek permission before accessing private
   property
• Obey restrictions that may apply regarding cultural and heritage
   values
Respect the rights of others to enjoy the same recreation, serenity and cleanliness as you expect for yourself.
• Keep to formed tracks where possible
• Keep the bush and camp-site clean
• Stop and look, do not disturb or destroy • Do not leave anything behind
• Deep-bury your human waste • If you bring it in, take it out
Vehicles need to have recovery points, front and rear.
Always take adequate water, food, fuel, basic spares and a First-Aid Kit.
Vehicle to vehicle communication via vehicles mounted UHF Radio utilising Channel 16.
In remote areas, have suitable communications for use in an emergency (eg HF Radio, Sat Phone)
